HOW TO CARE FOR SEATING BAGS?

Our poufs are entirely handmade with precision and love for detail and craftsmanship. They are designed to be used both indoors and outdoors, depending on which one you choose at the time. This is primarily a sitting bag, but such a pouf can have many uses. It can also be used as an ottoman or a small decorative and storage table in one. We have different types of sizes and therefore a plethora of uses and combinations.
PROTECTIVE SHEET
The Pouf will arrive in a protective tarpaulin for transport or storage. It is made of durable plastic with a waterproof zipper, it will survive for a while even in the wind and rain, but beware definitely not for a long time. Unzip the tarp and remove the bag.
REMOVING THE DECORATIVE COVER
If the decorative cover gets dirty, simply unzip it with the zipper on the underside and take it off. Re-zip the wrapper to prevent damage during washing. Place it in a wash bag and put it in the wash.
Fabrics designed for poufs are durable, but we recommend dealing with stains as soon as they occur.
INSERTION INTO WASHING MACHINE
Always wash on the delicate programme at a maximum temperature of 30°C. This will prevent unwanted shrinkage of the fabric. Use mild detergents according to the colour of the pouf to be washed. Take care especially when washing velvet or patterned pieces, always follow the instructions on the textile label.
HOW TO DRY SEAT BAG COVERS
Do not use tumble dryers. Allow to air dry freely, dry outside in the shade to prevent the fabric from turning yellow. Iron according to the instructions on the fabric tag. Put the cover back on the bag only when it is properly dried.
FILLING
The inner pouf is made of waterproof fabric and is filled with polystyrene balls, which can be replaced or refilled if necessary, in case of long-term use or seepage. There is no need to buy the bag again.
POUFS FOR OUTDOOR USE
The fabric used to make outdoor poufs is very durable, but that doesn't mean it's immortal. Therefore, treat the product as you would for indoor poufs, maintain according to the instructions on this page and on the fabric label for the specific product.
