HOW TO CARE FOR CURTAINS?
To make sure nothing goes wrong when caring for your delicate curtains, we have a how-to guide!

REMOVING HOOKS AND SNAILS FROM CURTAINS
It is essential to hang the curtains from all hooks, snails and other non-textile components to avoid tearing the fabric during washing. Depending on the material chosen, take care when removing, especially with sharp corners of furniture, rings and, where appropriate, rails.

INSERTION INTO THE LAUNDRY BAG
The curtains should be folded and placed in a wash bag as protection against snagging, damage and creasing in the washing machine drum. We recommend that you always put one piece in the bag and put them in the washing machine in small quantities, e.g. 2 pieces.

INSERTION INTO THE WASHING MACHINE
Always wash on the delicate programme at a maximum temperature of 30°C. This will prevent unwanted shrinkage of the fabric. Use mild detergents to match the colour of the curtain being washed. Take care especially when washing crashed or lace types, always follow the instructions on the textile label.

HOW TO SPIN CURTAINS
It is recommended to spin the curtains at max. 300/400 rpm, the ideal condition is that they do not drip water but remain damp. We do not recommend using a tumble dryer under any circumstances, as it will shrink and crease the fabric.

CLEANING DURING WASHING
While washing, you can attend to the other parts of the window. With a wet cloth and detergent, thoroughly wash the pelmets and rods on which the curtains hang. Also pay attention to the rings, studs or sills. Vacuum up any cobwebs with a vacuum cleaner.

HOW TO DRY CURTAINS
We're playing for time here. We recommend letting the curtains dry naturally directly hung on the window. This will prevent creasing and, in the best case, subsequent ironing. That's why we run straight from the washing machine to get the hooks and hang them.

HOW TO IRON CURTAINS
However, if you still need to iron the curtains, iron on the lowest possible temperature. Always try on a piece first. It is most comfortable to iron with a standing steam iron directly on the window. Be careful when ironing crashed and other atypical curtains.
ALWAYS FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE TEXTILE LABEL FOR THE SPECIFIC PIECE OF TEXTILE!
